Verint Adds New Intelligence Capabilities to Help Organizations Anticipate, Identify and Mitigate Risk

Enhancements to Verint Situational Awareness Platform and Enterprise VMS Include New Analytics Layers and Advanced Integrations for Greater Insights

Verint® Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: VRNT) today announced enhancements to its Situational Awareness Platform and Enterprise Video Management (VMS) solutions designed to help customers realize new levels of intelligence to support their mission-critical security initiatives. The addition of rich analytics and new integration capabilities enables customers to more efficiently anticipate and address emerging risks that affect employees, corporate data, infrastructure assets and business interests.

Verint’s Situational Awareness Platform is built on a flexible, open architecture that modernizes security functions by automating critical duties and gathering valuable intelligence to improve efficiency across the enterprise. Users can analyze and correlate data from multiple sensors—such as video surveillance, access control, biometrics, building management and video analytics, including facial recognition—for deeper insights into potential threats, business requirements and customer preferences. Enhancements to the platform improve scalability, support report customization and deliver expanded search, helping businesses achieve greater levels of intelligence to protect their people, property and information, while supporting overall business strategies.

Verint Enterprise VMS also offers a host of advanced and new capabilities, including being one of the first client-side supporters of ONVIF Profile G. Now ONVIF Profile G compliant, Verint Enterprise VMS can retrieve video from a camera’s SD card to ensure video capture in the event of a network outage. This provides customers an even wider range of solutions to choose from and builds upon the solution’s storage-on-the-edge capabilities. Additionally, Verint Enterprise VMS now offers video surveillance analytics with visual overlays, providing more detailed information to security operators to drive better decision making.

These recent enhancements to Verint’s Situational Intelligence solutions portfolio extend its capabilities through a “better together” approach that leverages the company’s Enterprise VMS and Situational Intelligence Platform, along with Verint Dispatch Manager, to offer one of the most comprehensive security platforms in the industry.

“We’re spearheading the development of intelligent solutions that allow customers to gather crucial insights to anticipate, respond and act in ways that advance their strategic efforts,” says Alan Stoddard, Verint’s vice president and general manager, situational intelligence solutions.  “These latest enhancements to our core platform significantly advance those efforts as we continue on the path to delivering compelling, next-generation solutions for today’s intelligent security operations centers.”
