Hg has re-imagined Hive as a strategic program, utilizing Verint Community to meet their goals, and continuing to elevate Hg’s offering to the investment portfolio.

Combined with an extensive program of specialist events, the Hive community provides access to SME support, tools and resources; opportunities for leadership collaboration and problem solving, and scaled exposure to leading edge IP and expertise.

“Together, Hive and the portfolio events program provide a powerful opportunity to drive value creation and accelerated growth across the portfolio,” says Parker Rose Muir, Portfolio Engagement Specialist, Hg. “Our aim is to empower senior leaders of portfolio companies with leading-edge IP and self-service tools that can drive real business value. It was important to us to provide an environment that was flexible, accessible, and secure, providing leading edge technology that caters to the needs of our portfolio members.”

Hive was designed and developed in collaboration with 3sides, a community strategy consultancy. Together, the Hg and 3Sides teams moved beyond implementing updates to fully reimagining and rebuilding the platform. Improvements to the design included a new member-centric experience to pull into focus relevant news and activity, live features such as online member status, and improved UX with simplified navigation and customized onboarding. The new platform also features additional innovation in the form of messaging channels for flexible, informal engagement, and improved security to support trust in the environment.
