Analyst Firm Names Verint as Worldwide Leader in Workforce Optimization Market
MELVILLE, N.Y., June 25, 2015 — Verint® Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: VRNT) today announced that it has been named the global leader in the Workforce Optimization (WFO) market according to DMG Consulting LLC’s newly published 2015 Contact Center Workforce Optimization (WFO) Market Share Report. The research highlights industry trends, growing areas of innovation and ongoing investment taking place across core solution segments. Key growth and impact areas include solutions that are helping organizations optimize customer and employee engagement in back-office and branch operations environments, and the impact and advancement of customer journey analytics.
Among the highlights from this year’s WFO market share report are:
- Verint Takes Lead in Multiple Traditional Contact Center Categories. Verint was named the overall WFO market leader in DMG Consulting’s 2015 WFO Market Share Report, and also was cited for its organic growth. According to the report, the company was recognized for its dominance in multiple revenue and market share categories, including total company (GAAP), WFO and recording solutions, quality assurance/quality management, total voice recording, non-contact center recording, license/software and services.
- Verint Commands Back-Office/Branch Categories. In addition to holding its front-runner position in the categories above, Verint was named a market leader in several other areas: back-office/branch and total workforce management (WFM). Of back-office/branch revenue and market share, the report stated that “Verint holds a commanding leadership position in this vertical, accounting for 69% of the sector’s revenue.” The research also notes that “the back office is just beginning to appreciate the benefits and value of WFM and other workforce optimization tools.”
- Verint Takes Top Position in Fast Growing WFO Cloud Market. The company also took the top position in the category of cloud/hosted/SaaS revenue in fiscal 2014. This further reinforces the need organizations have for solutions that provide a broad suite of functional capabilities and flexible deployment options.
“This new research from DMG Consulting reinforces our ability to deliver integrated, innovative solutions that anticipate customer requirements, market trends and adjacent growth areas in which customer engagement optimization and workforce optimization solutions can make a significant impact,” notes Nancy Treaster, senior vice president and general manager, strategic operations, Verint Enterprise Intelligence Solutions™. “To be named the overall leader, as well as the leader in the majority of categories in every region of the world, underscores our focus on and commitment to customer centricity, innovation, and the delivery of trusted solutions that address real-world business problems and help organizations excel.”
