Hamish embarked on his career with Procter & Gamble Ltd where he was responsible for the Flash brands. He then went on to become Head of Brand Management at British Airways in 1993 where he was responsible for the airline’s passenger brands (First, Club, Concorde, Shuttle, etc). Innovations included major product relaunches of Club Europe, Club World and First Class (including the introduction of flat beds).
The title of 'Master Thief' has been attributed to Hamish by the Inspired Leaders Network, based on his record of innovation by transferring ideas between sectors.
In 2004 Hamish established his own company which focuses on enabling organisations to achieve breakthroughs by looking outside their current environment. Processes, product and people development are all part of this mix.
Vice President of Partners & Alliances EMEA
Mike Pryke-Smith is the Vice President of Partners and Alliances for the EMEA region at Verint Systems. Supporting Verint’s portfolio of Enterprise Solutions, Mike is responsible for managing the EMEA partner business and developing strategic alliances to drive new business. Mike is based in the UK.
He is a graduate from Staffordshire University having gained a BSc(Hons) in Computing Science and he has more than 20 years experience in the IT Industry. Prior to joining Verint, Mike was Director of EMEA Channel & Alliances at OpenText. Before joining OpenText he enjoyed a 15 year career at Microsoft holding a variety of commercial positions in marketing, sales and management functions.
Director of Solutions Consulting EMEA
Tony Degruttola is the Director of Solutions Consulting EMEA at Verint Systems. Tony manages a team of Solutions Consultants across the region who are responsible for product awareness, partner sales and pre-sales enablement and translating customer requirements into viable solutions.
Tony has over twenty one years of experience in the design of software applications, focussing mainly in the contact centre area and has been with Verint for eleven years. Prior to joining Verint, Tony was with Avaya (At&T, Lucent) for ten years, specialising in application consulting and solution design.

In his role as Managing Director Nick leads the EMEA leadership team and he is responsible for managing all of Verint’s operations, growth, and profitability throughout the EMEA region. Nick joined Verint in 2012, and within a year he was promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales for the EMEA organisation. In 2015, he became the Managing Director for the region. With over 20 years’ experience in the Finance, Software, IT Hardware and Telecoms markets; Nick brings to the role a proven track record of driving accelerated growth and strategic planning. Earlier in his career Nick has headed up sales organisations at Vodafone, T-Mobile, HP and Lenovo.

Steve Bell is VP of Solutions Consulting EMEA for Verint Systems. Steve has overall responsibility for Verint’s Solutions Consulting Team across EMEA, supporting sales of our Workforce Management, Customer Analytics and Engagement Management solutions.
Working with customers during their initial evaluation of Verint solutions, as well as with existing customers looking to broaden their adoption of Verint solutions, the Solutions Consulting group provides in depth knowledge across the complete Verint portfolio. This expertise ranges from how Verint solutions provide business benefits and meet customer requirements through to Technical Design Authority during the sales cycle.
Steve has 20+ years of experience within the Contact Centre / Customer Engagement industry. He has been with Verint for 10 years, and prior to that held Solutions Management roles with other Contact Centre solutions providers such as Aspect and Enghouse Interactive.
Director Customer Support EMEA
Clive Pope is the Director of Customer Support EMEA at Verint Systems. Clive manages a team of Technical Support Consultants and Partner Services Managers across the region who are responsible for ensuring all our Partner and Customer Technical needs are addressed.
He has a particular brief to ensure Verint Partners receive all the Technical enablement training and support they need to deliver first class Services and Support to our end customers. Clive has over 25 years experience in the delivery of Application Services and Technical Support internationally. Prior to joining Verint, Clive worked at Comptel and Aspect directing international Support and Service deliveries, specialising in Partner Enablement.
